We also offer a VOC/Training service for those companies that would just like to check that their operator’s competence. This can also be delivered for the mulcher and vehicle loading crane with smaller load limits.

COURSE QUESTIONS
For those new to the industry it is expected that participants in these short courses will complete their training within a minimum of 2 days for the short unit training and up to 6 months for machine units. For those with industry experience already they will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their experience and can receive RPLs for most if not all of the courses. All course delivery is based on self-paced study.
Face to face delivery is available within organisations for groups of 8 or more.
An estimate of costs can be provided on request, but fees will only be confirmed when you enrol. If you are currently employed within the Queensland building and construction industry you may be eligible to have your current skills and knowledge recognised which means you could obtain your official qualification very easily and at no cost through government provided funding.
On successful completion of this program, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for that unit of competency (machine ticket, chainsaw ticket or individual civil training unit).
Credit Transfer may give you advanced standing (exemption) for parts of the program that you have successfully completed through Secondary School, Other Registered Training Providers.
Recognition of Prior Learning is available where an applicant may have attained skills and knowledge equivalent to specific competencies through previous training, work experience or life experiences.
MAC Training will recognise any AQF Qualification and/or Statement of Attainment issued by any other Registered Training Organisation.
We have teachers qualified to provide support in the areas of Language, Literacy and Numeracy assistance and Disability Assistance as well as general Learning Support. Your teacher in conjunction with the specialist teachers will assess your Language, Literacy and Numeracy needs as well as arranging provision of learning support should you need it.
